The Nike Air Max 1 Essential Psychic Blue is an athletic shoe that subtly pays homage to the New York Knicks team via its colorway.
This iteration of the Air Max 1 Essential is made with a light Psychic Blue mesh upper for breathability. The mesh stands out mostly on the toe box, peeks through the sides, and around the ankle collar. University Blue suede overlays cross the upper atop the toe box, on the sides, and as the heel counter for support, while a strip of Deep Royal blue leather forms the mudguard and the small Swooshes that adorn the sides. Bright orange Nike Air branding appears both on the heel and the tongue, and the top eyestays also get a bright orange hue. The thick white midsole contains Air Max units also accented with orange, while a blue and black outsole completes the look.
This shoe has hits of bright orange, which are eye-catching against the blue backdrop. The Nike Air Max 1 Essential Psychic Blue was released on January 2, 2025, for $140.
