The Nike Shox R4 Black (Women's) dresses the Shox R4 in an all-black colorway, toning down the sneaker’s Y2K design elements.

Originally released in 2000, the Shox R4 silhouette has maintained an understated presence in the retro sneaker scene. However, the women's black iteration replaces the usual bright colorways with a stark black upper and accents in Max Orange. Part of the modified waffle sole, the branding on the tongue, and the line of dots on the heel come in Max Orange. The textile-and-synthetic upper features laser-cut perforations and design lines highlighting the sneaker’s molded design. However, the stand-out feature is the Nike Shox column under the heel. It provides shock absorption while distributing weight across the foot.
