The Nike KD 17 B.A.D. puts a personal spin on Kevin Durant’s seventeenth signature shoe, honoring his late grandmother, Barbara A. Davis. Like the Aunt Pearl line, which predominantly features pink details, the B.A.D. line leans into lavender hues, and the KD 17 B.A.D. is no exception.
The sneaker showcases a gradient lavender hue on the breathable mesh upper with synthetic leather accents at the heel and a wavy TPU cage at the midfoot, providing structure. The tongue gets an iridescent KD patch, and Kevin Durant’s signature is etched at the heel. Underfoot, a large forefoot Zoom Air unit partners a springy Nike Air foam for shock absorption and cushioning, while a rubber outsole resembling a topographical map provides traction.
