The Air Jordan 5 Retro Bronze was made available as part of the brand's commitment to continue producing the Air Jordan 5 silhouette and in celebration of the Rio Olympics 2016. The signature look arrives in an Obsidian/white-Metallic Red Bronze-Bright Grape colorway.

The release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Bronze boasts full Obsidian leather with more blue accents spreading on the eyelets, side panel mesh netting, the inside of the tongue, and the inner tongue. Conversely, the shark teeth on the midsole, lace lock, and tongue feature contrasting hits of Metallic Red Bronze, particularly designed to mimic the 2016 Rio Olympics bronze medal awarded to the athletes. The icy translucent outsole and white midsole finish off the look of the sneaker.

In order to continue producing round-toe footwear for sports, Jordan released the Air Jordan 5 Retro Bronze at a retail price of $190 on September 24th, 2016.
