The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low University Blue (2016) is a low-top sneaker with a nostalgic design. Like the AJ 2 model released in 2004, this shoe features a colorway that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater.

The vintage color scheme includes University of North Carolina Tar Heels-inspired University Blue, as well as Midnight Navy and White. The color blocking on the heel is offset by the shoe’s white, pebbled leather upper, which includes delicate perforations. In terms of branding, the tongue displays a retro-inspired "Air Jordan" emblem. A Nike Air Sole unit in the midsole reduces impact stress and provides a snug fit.
