The Nike Zoom MMW 004 Baroque Brown represents a collaboration between the iconic sneaker company and designer Matthew M. Williams, who found inspiration for this sneaker design from kinetic energy in bent metal.

The Baroque Brown Nike Zoom 004 x MMW features an upper reminiscent of the Zoom Vomero 4. A brown and black mesh upper is adorned with a glossy-black no-sew synthetic overlay on the side panel and a translucent black overlay at the heel counter. Black rope laces thread through brown synthetic eyestays and cross over a brown and black mesh tongue. A miniature Nike Swoosh hits the lateral heel overlay to provide subtle branding.

What we marvel at most about this eclectic sports shoe is the innovative sole. Two exposed Zoom Air Pods in the forefoot provide propulsion and a cushiony spring. The black rubber outsole has a waffle-like pattern and is shaped around a continuous track inspired by a heavy-duty vehicle.
