The Nike Air Monarch was first released back in 2003, but it has been updated on several occasions over the last two decades. Nike introduced the Monarch IV in 2018 and started unveiling options like the Nike Air Monarch IV White Black.

This Nike Air Monarch IV had a genuine leather upper that was equal parts black and white. It also had some smaller hits of red on the Air Monarch branding on the tongues and outlining the Swooshes on the sides.

But one of the things Nike worked on while redesigning the Monarch to create the Monarch IV was making it as lightweight as they could get it without compromising its beefy design. They succeeded in doing this, and it was what our experts appreciated most about it.
