The midsole of the Nike Air Max 90 Midnight Navy comes in white, and a transparent window at the heel, which houses the Air Max unit. It rests on a navy rubber sole. Above the sole is obsidian synthetic leather that covers the lower parts of the shoe, from the forefoot to the heel. The underlay is a textile mesh visible on the vamp and around the collar. A TPU overlay in an obsidian hue adorns the heel counter, and the Nike Air branding is prominently embossed.
