The New Balance XC-72 Casablanca Red Yellow majority of the upper consists of premium perforated leather and pig suede.

The sneaker comes in yellow, white, and red tones with yellow colors dressed on its major uppers including the tongue, mudguard, and heel, while red is covered in the N logos on the lateral and medial sides. Additionally, the red hue is found on the ridge which spans from the toe tip to its tongue. Apart from its midsole being dressed in white, the color is also found on its collar and quarter panels. To complete its appearance, the sneaker is accented with gold aglets, black outsole, and yellow cotton laces.
