The New Balance 327 Olive features construction made primarily of canvas material.

The suede overlays, tongue tabs, and laces are accented with "Olive" colors to balance out the matte grey color of the material. Here, the neutral tones of white and gray are also given some attention; the former is used to outline the lateral side N logo, and the latter covers the interior lining. Further branding details include the NB logo printed on the tongue and the New Balance text on the heel counter. The EVA midsoles come in a white hue, and the matte grey tone entirely covers the rough-textured treading of the outsole.
