The 1033 Lord of the Rings Barad-dur Lego Set is recommended for ages 18 and up. This set contains 5,471 building blocks and features 10 mini figures, some good, some evil. This set is intended to help you build the evil tower topped with Sauron's all-seeing, swiveling, fiery eye. When you spin the figure around, you can see the inner workings of the seat of malevolent power.
Our favorite aspects of this LEGO set are three of the included figurines. One is Frodo holding the one ring to rule them all; another is Samwise Gamgee with his sword at the ready; and the third is a crouching Gollum, ready to pounce.
