The Balenciaga Tape Type Medium Fit T-shirt Black Faded is a short-sleeved tee with a crew neckline featuring a weathered, worn-in look created by the Black Faded colorway’s prior distressing. Branding appears on the front, printed in the style of caps letters created by masking tape. The reverse features Balenciaga branding in lowercase yellow tape-style letters below a BB logo.

Spanish Basque fashion house Balenciaga is based in Paris, having originated in San Sebastián, Spain, circa 1919. Under the creative direction of Demna Gvasalia, a Georgian fashion designer, Balenciaga has been known for its avant-garde fashion since 2015, as exemplified by the Tape Type’s DIY style logo play.
