The shoe features a Shattered Backboard colorway that combines black and orange. The color scheme takes inspiration from the iconic moment during a Nike Exhibition Tour, when Michael Jordan went up for a powerful one-handed dunk and shattered the backboard, leaving shards of glass scattered on the court. It showcases various design elements such as the perforated toe box from the Jordan 1s, mesh netting on the side panels akin to the Jordan 5s and a massive Air Unit from the Air Max 270s.
