Jordan 8 Retro Alternate (GS)

The Jordan 8 Retro Alternate (GS) dressed in white is an Alternate version of the Air Jordan 8 Playoffs, an iconic sneaker that is mostly black. This iteration has been specifically sized for grade-school-aged kids.

The mid-top Alternate (GS) Jordan 8 Retro’s upper is built on a base of smooth white leather that's perforated all along the side panel and collar to facilitate ventilation and enhance foot comfort. White leather overlays hit the toe box, side panel, collar, and heel. A thin black ankle strap helps ensure a secure fit over a fuzzy black chenille tongue. A white foam midsole and with Air inside is accented with pods of black. The outsole grooved for multi-directional traction appears in red, gray, and white rubber.

Our favorite detail of this big kids’ sneaker is the white leather overlay on the lateral heel that features black and red abstract graphics that call to mind the colors of the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 8 Retro Alternate (GS) was released on February 25, 2017, for $140 retail.
