A white sole, which contains an Air Sole Unit for buoyancy, forms the starting point of the Jordan 1 Retro Low OG. The mudguard has a suede material, and the vamp features the characteristic perforation pattern of the Air Jordan. A leather sticker loops over the tip of the tongue to cover its inner and outer parts. It has "Nike Air" branding, with a swoosh separating the two names. The other touch of leather appears on the heel counter. It extends to the notch, and it has the signature "Air Jordan" logo. On the quarter panels are the large swooshes in blue suede.
