La adidas ZX 8000 Sean Wotherspoon Super Earth fait son retour avec l’esprit “Super Earth” : un projet lancé par Wotherspoon et adidas en 2020, visant à réduire les déchets via l’efficacité des motifs, la sélection de matériaux recyclés et une approche vegan-first.
Dans le cadre de la collection A-ZX, cette ZX8000 rassemble un collage de textiles upcyclés, chacun avec son propre aspect. La tige combine notamment flanelle, denim et toile, dans l’esprit des matériaux qu’on retrouve dans les boutiques Round Two Vintage de Wotherspoon. La flanelle à carreaux vert habille la pointe et la languette de talon, tandis que des toiles brunes et rouges couvrent la partie avant, les panneaux latéraux, les œillets et le talon. Sur le panneau latéral, le branding 3-Stripes en toile se superpose à une broderie de fleurs blanche et vert néon. À cela s’ajoutent une unité de talon transparente, l’inscription “Super Earth” sur la languette et une semelle Torsion crème.
