The Nike Zoom Rookie Memphis Tigers is a shoe with a design that pays homage to basketball player Penny Hardaway’s return to his hometown team.

This iteration of the Nike Zoom Rookie features a base of white mesh around the laces and tongue. White leather overlays form the eyestays and run down toward the back of the forefoot, separating the mesh layer from a Foamposite layer bearing Photo Blue and black tiger stripes – the colors and design of the Memphis Tigers. These Foamposite layers form the toe box and forefoot, as well as the heel. White pods appear on each ankle and one on the lateral forefoot for extra breathability. The pull tab features Hardaway’s signature, while the tongue features his logo. The shoe sits on top of a semi-transparent white outsole.
