Designed by Bruce Kilgore, the NBA White Crimson Gum Nike Air Force 1 Low features a white, bright crimson, black, and white color scheme. The swooshes are altered with silver semicircle metal plates, distinct from previous gold plates, representing the ban on players wearing jewelry on the court. The NBA logos on the shoe's throat are reversed to pay homage to the historical practice of wearing headbands upside down. Lateral heel overlays and additional rectangular panels on the heels mimic shooting sleeves and kinesiology tape.
