The adidas Rivalry Low Unheard of Grandma's Couch Purple represents a collaboration between the iconic sneaker company and the Cincinnati sneaker store, Unheardof. Unheardof founder Philip Lipschultz designed these sneakers as a tribute to his upbringing with his Grandma.

The adidas Rivalry Low-Top x Unheardof Grandma's Couch in Purple features an upper with a base of white corduroy embroidered with flowers in shades of yellow, pink, orange, and green. Tumbled leather lavender overlays adorn the toe cap, vamp, eye stays, and heel, while bright red tumbled leather forms the side-panel adidas three stripes and the heel tab. This upper rests on a gum rubber cup sole with a bright red foam wedge under the midfoot. The outsole is patterned for multidirectional traction in red, white, lavender, and gum rubber.

A feature we adore are the hints of branding inspired by Lipshutz’s grandmother. The red heel tab and red tongue tag feature adidas branding in his Grandma's handwriting.
