The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro Christmas (2024) is a relaunch of the original Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Christmas” from 2014 with modern upgrades.
Like the original, the 2024 variation features a bold Christmas-inspired colorway that decks out the upper and sole unit in Bright Crimson accented by black and white. This time the basketball shoe is part of the Kobe Protro series, which updates classic Kobe models with modern tech. For instance, the upper is constructed from breathable Flyknit, while dynamic Flywire cables secure the midfoot area. Lightweight React foam replaces Lunarlon foam in the insole and carbon fiber paneling reinforces the responsive foam midsole.
