The Nike Book 1 Lilac Bloom decks out NBA player Devin Booker’s first collaboration with Nike in an all-over pastel-purple colorway and a mixed-material upper.
Unlike previous editions of the Book 1, the Lilac Bloom version is colorful and moves away from grayscale and neutral colors. The upper is crafted from suede, genuine leather, and a twill-like material in Barley Grape, giving the sneaker a smooth appearance. The shiny material on the Swoosh logo and the collar has a pearlescent sheen and comes in Daybreak. Additional splashes of Daybreak decorate the top of the tongue and the soft lining. A Zoom-Air unit in the heel provides a springy feel, while the rubber outsole features a herringbone pattern for multidirectional traction.
Our experts like the full-length foam in the midsole because it provides soft cushioning underfoot. The Nike Book 1 Lilac Bloom was released on July 18, 2024, and sold for $140.
